Terms of Use
Effective October 11, 2026
Reading Adventure is a free reading and maths game for young children, for families in the United States, published at sophieandcora.com/learn. By using it you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we keep and why; it is part of these terms.
Who can use it
- Anyone may play the games, with no account.
- Family accounts are for parents and legal guardians who are 18 or older. You may add only children you are the parent or guardian of, using a first name or nickname.
- Young children should play with a grown-up nearby. The game has no chat or contact with strangers, and nothing a child does is shown to other people.
Your family account
- You sign in with your Google account. Keep that account secure: anyone who can sign in to it can see and change your family's progress.
- You can share your family account with another parent or guardian of your children. Every grown-up in a family can see, change and delete everything in it, so invite only someone you trust with it.
- You can delete your family account at any time in Grown-ups. That deletes everything we keep about your family.
- We may close an account that is used to harm the game or other people, and accounts unused for two years are deleted (see the Privacy Policy).
Using the game fairly
Please do not try to get into other families' accounts, interfere with the game or the services it runs on, or copy and republish its stories, pictures or recordings as your own. Personal, family and classroom use is welcome.
The game's content
The stories, games, pictures, voice recordings and code were made for Reading Adventure. Some parts come from others under open licences, listed under Credits below. Nothing in these terms takes away the rights those licences give.
A free game, offered as it is
We work hard to make the game accurate, safe and fun, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We cannot promise it will always be available, free of mistakes, or that progress will never be lost. It is a learning game, not a replacement for a teacher or a professional assessment.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the game. Because the game is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to US $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update the game and these terms. If we change the terms, we will update the date at the top; if a change matters for families with accounts, we will tell you in the game. Continuing to use the game after a change means you accept the new terms.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived.
